CAA exemption 1331 which allowed all those with BMFA, LMA ETC certificates to fly without taking the CAA, RCC, LMA online test. So those members only had to label there model with the operator ID.
This exemption has now been superseded by 1345 which states that those members flying with the afore said exemption do not have to register or label there model until the 30th June.
The CAA have asked nicely that anyone who has already registered as an operator and has an operator ID follow the intent of the exemption and label their aircraft in accordance with the ANO. But the exemption says what it says, so I’ll leave it up to you what you want to do between now and the end of June.
You can guess what your friendly BMFA rep is going to do as it is in black and white.
This does not change what those who have taken the CAA, BMFA, LMA on line tests have to do, they have to put there operator ID on all there models.
