2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: left;\">Club member David Barker visited Wellesbourne Cubs on the 11th May 2026 to give them a talk on Model Flying.<\/p>\nHere is what Dave had to say:-\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: left;\">&#8216;I survived the onslaught of the cubs last night, they were very receptive to the couple of twenty minute talks I did. Each group had about ten cubs but one was made up of five girls and five boys and the girls especialy had their hand in the air for questions all the time.\nNo enquiries of where can I learn to fly but they seemed to show an interest so it may have planted a seed for the future&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 18px; text-align: left;\">A group of WMF members have laboured over the summer to upgrade the leaking hangar roof. The existing roof had failed in several places and was in danger of causing a bucket shortage. Despite delays caused by searing temperatures the new roof is now complete.
